My new fabrics and other news!

Oh how I missed all of you while I have been away from blog land. Thought I would spend a few minutes tonight and update my blog.

I am still working at Wal-Mart but I put in for a job with State Farm and did a interview today with the owner, which went very well. I am hopeing to hear back from them by tomorrow as to whether or not I got the job. I am very hopefull, this job would be 8-5 and weekends and holidays off which would be the ever changing schedule at Wal-Mart with which haveing weekends off is very rare. So all of you keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer that this is what God has in his plans for me.

Onto fabric..........

I got some really good bargins on some fabric this last week, some where as love as $.50 per yard and none where any higher than $1.50 per yard. Here they are in all their glory.

This picture does no justice because they are each very adorable. Several of them will be combined to make skirts for my girls. This will be my first go at combining fabrics so I hope I get it right, my inspiration came from a lady with great talent and has an eye for color, stop by and visit her blog @ http://jemimabean.blogspot.com/ I promise you will not be disappointed.

I also took a pic of some of my stash, will take pics of all the other when I get it all sorted and put in a place where it can be photographed.

And last but not least a pick of some of the new fabrics that will make a lovely skirt for my girls.

They will all be used in the makeing of one skirt(each skirt). Lets see how I do with this mix of colors and designs.

Finally if any of you are wondering about my recycleing I am still working on that, spent several days this week folding and putting away the clothes so that I knew what I had to work with. Also found some great bargins at the thrift store that will be great for re-makeing into some outfits for my girls. The fabric used on each that I bought is great, I love them all and can't wait to come up with something wearable for the girls out of them. I will take pics tomorrow and share them on my next post. Who knows some of them may become purses. hmmmmm...............

Until tomorrow, nighty night................
