Well tomorrow is officially my first day at my new job, they called Friday and said the boss decided to take the holiday off and it is a paid holiday, even for me, imagine that....I have not even started working yet and already getting benefits.
I can say that now that I am down to the wire I am very nervous and ofcourse have a mile long list of things I want to do before I start working, that will actually take me years to do, lol. I don't know if any of you are like me but seems like when I have something important coming up that is going to take time or if I have company coming over I make a huge list of things to do that I think I have to do RIGHT NOW, like clean the entire house including drawers, lawn, auto's, garage and such just cause my in-laws are coming into town. As if they are going to be looking in my drawers, my hubby thinks I am nuts and maybe I am, are any of you nuts also? So I made this to do list and have gotten a few things done on it like grocery shopping and cleaning my bedroom and ummmm, well, I, ummmmmm, hmmmm, there is only about 500 more things I need to get done before morning. Not so sure I am going to make it.lol......................
Ok, wish me luck friends, I will post tomorrow and let you all know how it went.

Good Luck!!! I hope it goes well!
I am sure that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
I'll be praying for and thinking of you tomorrow. I do the same thing with lists of things to do that cannot possibly be done in the amount of time I have. Or, I make lists and never look at them again. Just making the list sometimes clears my head and makes me feel better.
Good luck, I'm sure it will go really well. Look forward to hearing all about it!
First days aren't so much fun and can only get better on day 2.
This is how I attack my to do list. I add to it and cross things off daily.(this way I feel like I get things done) I give them priorities when I add them to the list. I do all my "A" thing first and when their done I work on the "B" items. It seams like I never get around to the "C" things but if they stay on the list to long I move them up in priority. It's the only way I can keep everything in my life together.
I learned long ago if things are important in life you feed it. When you don't feed it by giving your time or attention it will die.
You have a good boss paying you the first day and giving you the day off.
Enjoy your moments!
